I am quite a discerning customer when it comes to buying sarees with a list of criteria to meet my personal expectation of a perfect sari. I am also more comfortable in the traditional way of buying sarees in-person, especially those above a particular price point, and I prefer to touch-feel the saree material, hold it up against my skin to see the colour interplay.
However, the covid pandemic forced me to look for other options when I started my hunt for the saree to wear during Durga Puja. Parisera came up on my online search for authentic Kanjivaram sarees and I started exploring their collections. As mentioned earlier, since I have a list of criteria for any saree i purchase, i sent an online enquiry without expecting a prompt response. I was mildly surprised when I received a response within 24 hrs from a very customer-friendly person of Parisera, who patiently answered all my queries and offered to show me more sarees meeting my preference for hand-woven, pure zari, korvai, authentic Kanjivaram silk sarees in my specific price range.
After quite a few online interactions, I was convinced that this sari that I loved on photos, will also meet all my expectations in real life. One noteworthy point here, since I’ve never had any online purchases shipped to my US address, i admit I was kind of skeptical, especially after reading of bad experiences & complaints of some previous customers on social media regarding product quality and delivery.
